Split Display with Gantt Chart, Histogram Plot, and Single Element PERT

The split display allows the user to view data from two points of view at the same time. In this case, it has been configured with a Gantt Chart on the top, and a Histogram Plot on the bottom. Both of the displays have conditional coloration applied, allowing different jobs/activities to show with different fill color, permitting easy visual analysis. The Single Element PERT allows the user to view the predecessors and successors of the currently selected activity in a small PERT chart. This also permits navigation for easy exploration of the schedule.

Generated Explanation Showing Impact of Multiple Predecessors

This shows several Aurora displays, but the focus is on the generated explanations. The Aurora explanations are generated automatically during scheduling, and allow insight into why things scheduled the way they did. In this case, the explanation shows the date impact of multiple predecessors and successors, each reducing the possible scheduling timeframe of the activity. The explanation is built up sequentially, with earlier inputs falling higher on the list. The end of the list shows the final scheduling decision. This screenshot also shows a resource plot in the background and a Single Element PERT allowing the user to see the predecessors and successors that are reflected in the explanation. The displays have conditional coloration applied, allowing different jobs/activities to show with different fill color, permitting easy visual analysis.
